On a rainy Sunday morning I arrived at The Great House at Sonning to find that the garden ceremony Karis and Will had planned was now going to be held inside – the weather forecast looked bleak for them.

Fast forward two hours and the arrival of friends and family turned that upside down as this turned into one of my favourite weddings of the year. A little cliche but guests bought the sunshine as they sang, drank and partied the entire day.

The ceremony was moved indoors and the events team did an amazing job of making it look superb. Fortunately the sun showed its face later in the day and guests were able to spill out into the gardens and surrounding river bank that make this venue so stunning.

As the band kicked in the dance floor was packed from the moment they played to the moment they stopped. An epic wedding party.
