Choosing a destination wedding photographer is not such an absurd idea. Many brides and grooms who fall in love with a photographic style of a particular photographer or want to guarantee they will get a gorgeous collection of wedding day images often choose a photographer from the UK to capture their day.
Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park is my old stomping ground so I was delighted to have the opportunity to revisit a venue I’m very familiar with and a park I spent most of the last 15 years walking around.
When I first spoke to Alice and James about their wedding day I knew it would be a little bit different from the traditional wedding celebration. For starters the reception was in a field, with guests pitching tents and camping overnight and the traditional wedding breakfast was replaced with an extravaganza of cakes as friends and family enjoyed Afternoon Tea.
